What is Halotherapy?

Halotherapy, also known as salt therapy, is a form of alternative treatment that involves breathing in air with microscopic salt particles to improve respiratory health and potentially benefit skin conditions. It involves spending time in a room designed to simulate the microclimate of a salt cave, where specialized devices disperse dry salt into the air.

FAQs
What is Salt Therapy?

Salt therapy, also known as Halotherapy, is a completely natural and non-invasive treatment that involves breathing in microscopic dry salt particles. It can help relieve respiratory conditions, support skin health, and for those in good overall health, it is often used to enhance wellbeing and strengthen the immune system.

What type of salt do we use?

The salt used in our halogenerator for your therapy is 99.99% pure, pharmaceutical-grade sodium chloride. It contains no fillers, additives, or anti-caking agents.

How safe is Salt Therapy?

Halotherapy is a completely natural, safe, and drug-free treatment that offers effective long-term relief. It may be used on its own or alongside prescribed medications. When combined with medication, it can help enhance their effectiveness.

Halotherapy is a safe and gentle therapy for most people, but certain conditions require caution. It is your responsibility to consult with a medical professional if you have any concerns. Halotherapy should not be used as a substitute for any medication or treatment prescribed by your doctor. We do not make claims to "heal" or "cure" any medical condition.

What should I wear to a session?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing. The room is kept at a pleasant temperature, and no special equipment or attire is required.

Is salt therapy suitable for children?

Yes, we offer shorter sessions designed for children up to 16. A parent or guardian must attend.

What do I do during the Salt therapy session?

Our salt room is made to help you relax, with calming music, and comfortable seating and therapeutic salt. Just salt your worries away!

What can I expect during the Salt therapy session?

Some clients may experience a dry throat during the session. This is a normal response to the fine salt aerosol released by the generator. These microscopic salt particles work to loosen mucus and provide natural anti-inflammatory benefits.

How many people are in the treatment room?

Our salt room accommpanies up to 6 people in comfortable seating. We also offer private sessions for groups of adults and familes.

What results can I expect?

Many people find that their breathing feels easier, with symptoms like sneezing, coughing, and shortness of breath noticeably reduced. Clients often report an overall improvement in their wellbeing.

How many sessions do I need?

Treatment plans typically involve 1–2 sessions per week. Since everyone is unique, we customize each program to suit your individual needs.

What time should I arrive for my session?

Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to allow time for paperwork and to get settled before your session. For all following appointments, we kindly ask that you arrive on time to ensure your session runs smoothly without interruptions.

What happens if I arrive late?

If you cannot arrive on time, your session time will be shorter, or we can reschudle your session for another time.
